Discover Mainie: Ethical and Sustainable Fashion
At Mainie, we recognise the environmental impact of fashion on our planet. Each year, tonnes of clothing end up in landfills, contributing to pollution and harming our natural ecosystems. That's why we are dedicated to sustainable fashion practices that uphold our commitment to the environment at every step.
Our approach begins with the materials we choose. We exclusively use natural, biodegradable fibres such as pure silk, Australian Merino wool and plant-based Modal. These materials not only ensure luxurious quality but also minimise our ecological footprint.
Partnering with reputable manufacturers, we ensure our garments are crafted in modern facilities that prioritise workplace safety, fair labour conditions and environmental responsibility. We believe in transparency and accountability, never compromising on the standards that define our brand.
Unlike fast fashion, Mainie products are carefully handcrafted and designed to endure. Produced in small batches to reduce waste, our pieces embody timeless elegance, transcending fleeting trends.

Central to our identity is our celebration of Aboriginal artistry. Every design in the Mainie collection is an authentic expression of Australia’s 65,000-year-old Indigenous cultural heritage, ethically sourced and reproduced under the Indigenous Art Code. Through this, we empower Aboriginal women artists, supporting them to earn an independent income from their own work while preserving their unique cultural heritage for future generations.

At Mainie, style isn’t just about what you wear, it’s about making thoughtful choices that respect people, culture and the planet.
